Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a current client to join the group exercise program?
For our rehabilitation sessions, you do need to be a current client, and an individual assessment by an Exercise Physiologist is always required before starting.
This ensures we can create a safe, appropriate exercise program tailored to your specific needs.
Think of it as your personal workout assistant - it supports your body while helping you build strength and flexibility in a controlled, gentle way.
What should I wear and bring to the sessions?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and supportive athletic shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a small towel if you'd like. We provide all the exercise equipment you'll need!
What if I miss a session in my 10-session pack?
Your 10-session pack is valid for 3 months from purchase, giving you flexibility if you need to miss a week here and there. We don't offer refunds for missed sessions, but with proper notice, we can sometimes accommodate changes within the same week.
How is this different from classes at a regular gym?
Our group exercise programs are led by Accredited Exercise Physiologists with expertise in clinical exercise prescription. We understand how to safely modify exercises for different health conditions and can progress you appropriately based on your individual needs.
Unlike typical gym classes, our programs bridge the gap between rehabilitation and fitness, focusing on correct technique and sustainable progress.
Are the group exercise classes suitable for older adults?
Absolutely! Our Exercise Physiologists are experts at modifying exercises to suit different ages, fitness levels and health conditions. Our rehabilitation program is particularly well-suited for older adults focusing on maintaining mobility, balance and functional strength.
